HEIQ ANTIMICROBIAL ADDITIVES FOR DURABLE ODOR CONTROL OF MELT EXTRUDED FIBERS
HeiQ offers both plant- and metal ion-based antimicrobial technologies that can be durably incorporated into synthetic fibers during the fiber and polymeric material extrusion. Consequently, the active ingredients are always embedded into the product and continuously inhibit the growth of microorganisms that come in contact with the surface of the material, eliminating unwanted odors.
HeiQ antimicrobial technologies are designed to resist abrasion, washing, and exposure to UV radiation and various chemicals. The antimicrobial effect typically lasts for the lifetime of the finished product.
