Following a hiatus of one year as a result of the pandemic, the Locarno Film Festival, the most significant cinematographic event in Switzerland and among the most important in Europe, will feature live screenings from August 4th to 14th, 2021. Throughout its 74-year history, the Locarno Film Festival has occupied a unique position in the landscape of the major film festivals.
